China Conference on Knowledge Graph and Semantic Computing (CCKS 2021)
First Call for Full Papers
August 18th to 21st, 2021, Guangzhou
Submission Deadline: May 10th 2021 May 25th 2021
The 15th China Conference on Knowledge Graph and Semantic Computing (CCKS) is organized by Committee of Language and Knowledge Computing of Chinese Information Processing Society of China. CCKS originated from the Chinese Knowledge Graph Symposium (CKGS) and Chinese Semantic Web and Web Science Conference (CSWS) since 2016. CCKS2016[1], CCKS2017[2], CCKS2018[3], CCKS2019[4] and CCKS2020[5] were held in Beijing, Chengdu, Tianjin, Hangzhou and Nanchang respectively. In particular, CCKS 2019 attracted more than 800 participants from both academia and industry. CCKS 2020 was a conference combining both online and offline. More than 300 participants attended the offline conference and the peak number of online participants reached more than 46,000. CCKS has become the core academic conference in the fields of knowledge graph, semantic technologies, linked data, etc in China. It gathers scholars and researchers from the fields like knowledge representation, natural language understanding, knowledge acquisition, question answering, linked data, graph database, graph computing, and automated reasoning. CCKS2021 (www.sigkg.cn/ccks2021) will be held in Guangzhou from August 18 to August 21, 2021.
The theme of CCKS2021 is “Knowledge Graph Empowers New Infrastructure”, which aims to discuss key technologies in language understanding, knowledge acquisition, knowledge fusion, knowledge reasoning, etc. in the big data environment as well as corresponding intelligent services or applications for new infrastructure. The conference will include tutorials, keynotes, industry forums, evaluations and competitions, review of top conferences, poster/demo and academic paper presentations. The conference will invite well-known scholars at home and abroad to give lectures on the latest developments, development trends and practical experience in related fields. The industry forum will invite key R&D personnel in the industry to share experience and promote cooperation between industry, university and research.
CCKS 2021 solicits submissions of original research work relating to Knowledge Graphs. Submissions must be in PDF format, using the style of the Springer Publications format for Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS). Full paper submissions must be no longer than 12 pages. All submissions will be critically reviewed by at least three members of the Program Committee of the conference. To assess submissions, reviewers will judge their relevance to the conference, their originality, technical soundness and depth of their proposed approach, and the readability of the submission. The process adopts double-blind review and the principle of conflict of interest. When submitting a manuscript, you should not disclose the author’s information in any place such as the author, acknowledgments, quotations, text, footnotes, etc., otherwise it will be rejected.
Accepted English papers will be published in a Springer LNCS proceedings. A number of the best English papers accepted by CCKS2021 will be recommended to the Journal of Data Intelligence, Journal of Computer Science and Technology (JCST), and AI Open. Papers accepted in Chinese will be published by the Journal of Shanxi University, Journal of Chinese Information Processing, Journal of Pattern Recognition and Artificial Intelligence. These journals to which papers are recommended might require an additional review before being accepted for publication.
